An Open Letter to Disorganization

Dear Disorganization:

It has come to our attention that you feel as though you can live amongst our society with this attitude of entitlement – as if you’re supposed to be here. You cause chaos, stress, struggle, and leave many of us feeling out of control, helpless and hopeless. You hide in the backdrop of many of our everyday dilemmas and try to prevent us from living the life we know we deserve. While we are not without fault in this dysfunctional relationship, we now realize that you are no longer wanted, needed, tolerated, or accepted in our lives. We reject you disorganization.

We will always remember the times we had together and keep those memories just close enough to remind us of our lessons learned. We vow to remain steadfast on our journey of organization as we know this is the only way to live our best lives. We will be diligent, persistent, knowledgeable, insightful, and courageous so that we will never return to your world. We know that while we may fall short at times, getting back on track is imperative because we know you are waiting for us to falter. Our mind is alert, our intentions are clear, and we are declaring today, our chapter in the book of disorganization is officially closed.

We thank you for your time and acknowledgment of this letter.

Sincerely,

Inside Out Organizing, LLC and Friends
