Spring is always something to I look forward to while complaining throughout patiently waiting out our harsh Michigan winters. This winter has been quite mild, which has left me yearning for even warmer weather – such a brat I know! You’d think 40s in January would be enough. Nope! There’s something about seeing the grass in the middle of February that makes me think 80 degrees. Anywho…. Although true organizers love to organize all year round, spring is near and dear to my heart because of two words: spring cleaning! What other season gives you permission to clean?! So, I say let’s dust off the cobwebs of winter – even the mild ones – and welcome spring into our homes and hearts with a big ole’ bear hug. *squeezing tightly* (((hugs)))
We’re only a few weeks away, so it’s the perfect time to start thinking about what projects you want to accomplish. Personally, we’re going to tackle our crazy basement using my rules of organizing. I’ll be posting our progress in upcoming blogs so stay tuned! With a growing family, business, and new way of living (simply that is), I need to be even more organized on the front end, so I don’t get kicked in my back end. *wink*
A gentle reminder: spring cleaning isn’t just for your home. It’s an opportunity to reconnect and renew every part of your being – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. We are most fulfilled when all of these are aligned and balanced, so be sure to take time to work on each of them.
So, what’s on your spring time to-do list?
