Welcome to What’s Up Wednesday’s!
What’s Up Wednesday’s is a new way of sharing what’s going on with us, as well as some of the goodness I find in these internet streets. Hope you enjoy!

What We’re Reading
I found a couple of these books at the library and thought they were so cute. So, of course, I had to buy the whole set. I was able to find them all on Amazon for pretty cheap (most of them are used), and my younger two have enjoyed them. I really love the multicultural aspect and how each book is about a different topic that is perfect for little kiddos. They have even more books that you can find here.
What We’re Watching
We started watching season two of the show Street Genius on Netflix the other day. The host travels around America doing experiments with people he meets and challenges them (and viewers) to predict the outcome. All of the kids (even the baby!) are loving this show!
What I’m Loving Right Now
I love to do morning time as a start to our homeschool day, and Pam Barnhill (from Ed Snapshots) is the lovely lady who introduced me to the concept. So, I was too thrilled to see that starting September 1st Pam is doing her first Month of Morning Time over on Instagram. You can join in the fun by posting a picture of your morning time and tagging it with #yourmorningbasket to be connected with others doing the same. I’ll definitely be participating!
If you’re a homeschooler, I’m sure you follow Jamie over at simplehomeschool.net. In case you missed it, earlier this year she released her book, Give Your Child the World: Raising Globally Minded Kids One Book at a Time, and I picked up a copy. Y’all, it’s such a great book. Anywho, as a bonus for buying the book, she recently released a FREE adult coloring book as a thank you. How cool is that? I got mine; now go get yours.
My friend shared this with me and it’s good, peeps. So, so good.

Next Week’s What’s Up Wednesday Preview
Look out for a tour of our homeschool room and our “curriculum” for the 2016-2017 school year next week. You’ll see our spiffed, decluttered room and find out why I put curriculum in quotation marks. Talk to you next week, friends!
