IMG_8297Hey, I’m Camille. I’m a wife and stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to three kiddos, living in the “D” (Detroit, MI.)

I’m a planner & organizer by nature, but motherhood has taught me that having a good daily rhythm works much better. I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, & watching families on YouTube (we vlog, too!). I also like to write, learn about homesteading, & practice simple, authentic living. It’s nice to “meet” you. ❤

About the Homeschooling in the “D” Blog

Homeschooling in the “D” is not your typical homeschooling blog. Homeschooling isn’t simply about what curriculum to use. To me, homeschooling is about relationships, flow, rhythm, and finding the right balance of fun and learning to keep everyone’s interest. Homeschooling is an “all day, everyday” experience, and we are always learning, whether it’s during “school time” or not. This blog is not only about the academic lessons of home education, but about the everyday experiences, good and bad, of living the homeschooling lifestyle.
