I just finished the book The Spiritual Tasks of the Homemaker by Manfred Schmidt-Braband, and can’t say enough about it. So much so, I went on and on for over sixteen minutes and had to stop myself for the sake of taking up too much of your time. Although, hopefully the time I did take will be worthwhile. Basically, I had a lot to say about the awesomeness of this book.
If you’ve ever been curious about the real role of a homemaker, press play right now! And, as always, let me know your thoughts.
Here are all of the books I read in 2013. Aren’t they pretty? I told you guys that I’m a non-fiction girl.
As I look over these titles I think about how each book has left me some of its magic; most have changed how I will think forever. And, that’s cool. That’s why I read. I want to let out an audible ‘mmm hmmm’ because something I read moved me to do so. I love that stuff. I look forward to what books 2014 will bring.
P.S. — I’m on Goodreads, where I keep track of the books I read and more. Let’s be friends on there, ok? 🙂
