A Link to the Ever Elusive Henry Ford/Greenfield Village Home Educator Registration Form

If you’ve ever been to the The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village, you know that there’s too much to pack into one day. We’ve taken you along on one of our trips to Greenfield Village, and we’ve gone many a-time since then. For the last several years, we’ve had a membership and that’s because of the generous discount home educator’s receive. We save about $50 on a family membership! Plus, the cost is tax deductible — it’s the gift that keeps on giving. As a home educating and one-income family, getting a discount on a membership that offers so much throughout the year is a true blessing.

In order to receive the discount, you must complete the home educator registration form annually, which wouldn’t be an issue if it was easy to find on their site! I’ve had to call the past two years and either have them send me the form or the link to it since it’s hidden on their site for some reason. Humph!

So, because I’m all about efficiency and sharing, I thought I’d post the link to it on my blog for you guys (and for me next year – smh).

Our 2017 Summer Bucket List

Our homeschool year is over!

We wrapped up our homeschool year a couple of weeks ago, and we have been busy doing NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. It has been marvelous. Overall, we had a full, busy, and wonderful year. That’s the short version — look out for my year in review soon.

As summer approaches and the weather gets warmer, we wanted to make the most of it, so I chatted with the kids and we came up with a summer bucket list.  Here it is!

We’re an ambitious bunch. Yes, we are. We will post videos of our adventures throughout the summer on our Youtube channel, so make sure to subscribe to follow our fun!

While we’re on the topic, here’s the first installment. Hope you enjoy!

P.S. I’ve created a template for you to make a summer bucket list with your kiddos, too. You can download it here!
